Media Campaign Audiance Feedback
Audience Feedback
For our Mental Wealth campaign, we created feedback forms for our audience. We used the feedback forms as an indication of production quality as trying to understand what our audience had learned. We had three people test out the film and also spoke to our tutor Mark after he watched the film to get his opinion and ask if he would use it in the classroom for this subject. He said that he would but he felt as though the film wasn't finished properly and we needed to add the appropriate materials on the end in order to make it cohesive and the same across all parts of the media campaign and that we could maybe shave a minute from the video to make it snappier and more to the point, he also said that we should include some more text in there in order to get our point across too. Due to time limits, we weren't able to recover the footage from Jess' interview in time for the deadline and I am devastated about that as I do feel that would have made the difference to the video. However, I also know that this part of the film was not my job and I personally went over and above the jobs I needed to do and had to take over in the end when editing as our editor was not going to be done in time, so because of this situation, I am happy with the job that I did for my own role within the team.
For our questionnaires, we also had a mixture of genders and ages so that we could get different opinions and this is what we came out with:

Overall, from the feedback, it was a good response and I am quite happy with how much they learnt from the video and the campaign, after getting these sheets and listening to Mark we made a few changes to the piece. We changed the ending of the film to make sure that the information was all on there of some more shocking statistics and added in the social media handles, the hashtag and logo to create a cohesive media campaign instead of individual ones from all different types of media that just don't make much sense. In my opinion and taking it from the feedback sheets, I think that the campaign could have been so much better, especially the film but I also know that I did my best individually, and couldn't have been more clearer with my teammates about what the final outcome needed to be, the poor communication between teammates and them not asking questions when they needed to and then also not listening when trying to improve lead to the film not being the best it could be. When watching it, I picked up that the film goes out of focus, the sound differs and is muffled throughout and the green screen wasn't lit properly. As far as the information that we had in there, I felt happy with what we got across in the end but felt as though, if the original plan and script was stuck to by the editors that it would have so much more of an impact., for example, the voiceover of Anna talking the audience through the statistics at the end and speaking directly to the audience, saying "Don't end up like me." I think would have made a huge impact and I definitely think that if we were able to do this unit again, I would be giving different people different job roles and also be making sure that I am harsher as a project leader. Overall, however, from the audience feedback, we did get the message across that we wanted to, even though it could have been stronger.
